Can I prevent SquirrelMail from keeping my 'sent' and 'trash' messages?
If mail is clogging up your server space, and you're using SquirrelMail to access your email accounts, you may want to turn off the 'sent' and 'trash' mail boxes. Here's how...
- Log in to SquirrelMail.
- Click on Options in the row of links toward the top of the screen.
- Click on Folder Preferences in the column on the right.
- In the first drop-down menu, labeled Trash Folder select [Do not use Trash]
- In the third drop-down menu, labeled Sent Folder select [Do not use Sent]
- Click on the button at the bottom right.
You may choose to alter other settings while you're there, but the above steps will prevent mail from piling up in those two mail boxes.
