How can I have email forwarded to a different address?
You can forward email to any other email address, even if it's not an address set up on our servers.
NOTE: Be careful when forwarding email automatically. If you forward mail from your account hosted with us to a third party email account like Hotmail or Yahoo, some services will interpret spam as having come from our server even though it did not originate with us. This can get your email account with us added to blacklists and can cause problems with receiving mail.
To add an email forwarder:
- Log in to cPanel and look for the Mail group of icons
- Click on
- Click on
- Type the account name of the address you want mail forwarded from in the first window, and the complete email address you want the mail forwarded to in the second window
- Click on and your new Forwarder will be activated
NOTE: You do not have to create an actual email account to setup a forwarder. For example, if you want to forward all email messages routed to you@yourdomain.com to another address, do not create a an email account for you@yourdomain.com. When you set up the forwarder, mail will be sent on to your other address and will not need an account on the server.
To delete an email forwarder:
Click on Delete to the right of the forwarder that you would like to delete.
